Straight shelled Nautiloid cephalopod (an Orthocone). These were top predators in the Palaeozoic oceans.Shows tapering shell with numerous 'watch glass' septal chambers. Rarely offered fossil.

Ordovician, lower Caradocian, Llanfawr Mudstone Formation.
