Acentrophorus glyphus (Agassiz, 1835.)
Perfect well preserved fish on rectangular 'tile' of black shale. Acentrophorus was the smallest fish in the Zechstein Sea and as such would have been at the bottom of the food chain. This exact same species is recorded from the Marl Slate of County Durham, UK. They very rarely come up for sale.
