Fish vertebrae.
The bag contains at east 100 vertebrae found by sieving. Some are shark vertebrae. Most are from teleost fishes. Amongst the fish recorded from Abbey Wood are Barracuda, Lady Fish, Bowfin, an extinct Wrasse and Garpike.
