PATHOLOGICAL ORTHOCONE

 Pathological Orthocone  - Geisoniceras sp.

A most unusual 'straight shelled' nautiloid. The posterior four septal chambers are bent at an angle of 45 º to the rest of the shell. May be the result of a 'bite' injury or post mortem 'drift'.
