‘Keyhole’ Echinoid
Pygaster semisulcatus (Phillips)
Very good example of this difficult to obtain species. Shows the characteristic ‘keyhole’ shaped hole on the upper surface. Excellent surface detail. Some slight crushing of the test. Base of specimen still matrix covered. From a Victorian collection.
