ICHTHYOSAUR VERTEBRA with ‘Bite Marks’

Matrix free Ichthyosaur Vertebra. On one surface there are four separate ‘puncture’ wounds, evidence of predation or scavenging, probably by crocodiles. The other surface of the specimen shows a corresponding bite mark. An interesting item.
